I Will be Visiting Lubbock .... Any advice on where to stay?

I will be visiting Lubbock and was wondering if anyone has any advice on where to stay? what is a good area. I will also be visiting Odessa and Amarillo.

If you wanna be in the heart of it all, and have the funds to spend.....Stay at "The Overton" right by the University!! Its a great Hotel!!! The nicest that Lubbock has to offer!!

say sugar before I got my rent house the Embassy suites is the bomb. Theirs alot nearby and people can park near with out having their car all in the open. They have free appitizers and drinks from 530 to 7 and the breakfast is great.
For the money it is good.
