What Did Everybody do About Their Nerves?

So, when I first started hobbying, I had some major nerves attacking me before a session. I found out that if I carried a bottle of Peppermiint Schnapes in the car and took a few chugs before the appointment, I seemed better, but of course, I reeked of peppermint when I met the provider. One said to me, "I think you've had some unusual cocktails this afternoon!"

Slowly, that tradition has subsided, but I wanted to know what other guys did to calm their nerves and ladies, how did you handle these "courage enhancers."

When I first started hobbying I would mostly do calls at my house. I would pace the floor looking out the window for the lady or a family member to come home. This was also before cell phones became so popular so if some one came home who wasn't supposed to, a call to the lady wouldn't really stop her from showing up. Had one experience where my brother came home just before the lady arrived. Had to bribe him into leaving for an hour. Pretty sure he knew something was up. Had a few other close calls which is why I prefer seeing a lady at her location. But even this makes me nervous, especially if its a lady I haven't met before & I have to do the walk of shame in front of the hotelmotel staff.

I have found nothing that calms my nervousness better than nekkidness.

bbbj calms my nerves.
I don't think I was ever "nervous". I started at about the beginning of the "Internet" days back when TER was called Lareviewer. My first appt was booked before I arrived in Vegas. I proceeded to her private apartment off a little off the strip and the rest is history. For me its more like awkwardness a lot of time in meeting a new person...just don't know what to expect. Some girls are either a little shy or standoffish for a bit until they get comfortable with their surroundings.

My nervousness was kind of a turn-on because I was intrigued by the idea of walking in and fucking a complete stranger.
Not sure I ever felt nervous. But I always did incalls, so maybe it was easier going to them. Otherwise, just go in with enough confidence and coolness to enjoy it. Guess that was always my take on it.

I had a horrible case of the nerves my first time but I didn't do anything to subside it.

I told the provider I was extremely nervous, she could tell and told me to relax. We spent about 25 minutes just talking on the couch about things and at one point I even forgot why I was there. Then she just got on my lap and kissed me out of the blue. It went naturally from there and I consider myself very lucky I saw her first.

I get nervious still before every session and I think thats a good thing.

I still get nervous especially when meeting someone new and I'm sure it will never go away completely. It's much better now then when I first started. I get nervous really bad right before making the first call (which is why I prefer email communication at first) and during my time from the car to the door. Once I'm through the door everything seems to even out really quick thankfully.

Having a drink or two before hand might help out, but I'm not sure that's a great idea in the hobby. Better to have your wits about you.

I have no problem with the nervousness though, keeps you on your toes.

I was nervous on my first visit, but the young lady put me at ease right off the bat. She was easy to talk to, started taking off her shoes to indicate it was time to get comfortable and it all went well from there. She then referred me to her friend, who happen to have a friend with her that was my third visit. After that I wasn't nervous but more excited like before playing football or basketball back in the day. Those first three? Pursia, Heidi and Sarah Satisfaction. Looking back I realize I was pretty lucky to start with the three of them.
I still get nervous walking into a hotel room or waiting for a provider in my hotel room. Usually talking with them for a little bit makes it a lot better but I'm going to have to agree with some of the members on here that being nervous is a good thing it keeps you aware of your surroundings. I know just out of my own personality I always keep an eye out for something strange or I'll scan the area before going into the hotel or hotel room. You can never be too cautious I guess...
