I was "prowling" the internet and stumbled across this.........I found it to be pretty funny and true!!

I have drank and been gifted both of these below but I agree that you can find way better champagne.

I guess it's just those high-status items such as luxury cars, expensive shoes or pricey watches which will continue to remain appealing to certain consumers as long as prices remain high or increase, but a decrease in the price would most positively cause it to become less exclusive and less flashy, which would reduce fondness for it.

I am not dissing the "brands" but maybe it is just my "cheap" or "life of simplicity" as I call it.

Anyway, I would like to hear your recommendations and opinions(:

I always hear this in rap songs and such.
But than I listened to a radio program and they said it was made from Muscat (?) grapes.
I dropped my jaw. I've ALWAYS loved the old school Martini & Rossi Asti Spumanti (which is now plain Asti.) Love the sweet taste.
If it is made from these grapes, I highly recommend the M&R at a cheaper price.
I enjoy the Veuve Clicquot line of champagnes...the Brut (yellow label) it's under $50/bottle and imo...better tasting than Dom or Cristal. The VC line has several others that range anywhere from $40-$2000/bottle.

To me, it's just like wine...just because a bottle is expensive, doesn't necessarily make it the best or better than a cheaper bottle.

It's not the price of the wine that counts.......it's the company you keep while drinking it. I had a very nice time drinking some wine with Nikki the other night ago!
