I know we are focused on the Spurs run for the championship, but just thought, I'd post this for your imput.

No doubt the Lakers will try to move him, he has a big contract, but do you feel he would a good addition to the team.

I actually like him, in the right environment he can do well.

But not for a high cost or draft pick.

I would trust Pop to and Buford to make the right decision.

No way would I want Andrew Bynum.

Now, would you consider getting Kobe?

A couple of years back (when there was serious talk about kobe leaving the lakers...i think the year shaq left), kobe stated that the spurs was one of three?? teams he would consider going to! I dont really recall the whole situation, but i remember there was a real short list of teams that he would have opted out of his no trade clause and sign with.
Kobe will stay put. He already said he was.

They're gonna move Bynum. Bank on that. At least Gasol showed some passion last night. Bynum had a look on his face that he was out on a beach some where sipping on mimosas already.

That guy is a franchise player already.... for a McDonalds or a Burger King.

The Spurs will not add any big name players next year.
I think Gasol would do well here...besides, he has (had) a hot girlfriend!

Bynum in BYE-NUM for real. Dwight Howard will end up in LA some how I feel it will get worked out. Especially if he wants to win and be the face of a large market franchise. Makes sense for Howard since he wants to be in Hollywood. Can we say follow the Shaq track!!!!!! Kobe has 3 maybe 4 years and its a wrap to a great career. The Lakers will make big moves, they have too if Kobe is to get #6 and continue in their championship ways.. Gasol I think will not end up a Spur, but maybe the Houston trade may be re-visited. Kobe is a Laker for life and first ballot Hall of famer just like Duncan. Both have dominated the west and it be nice to see both win a few before sailing off. OKC will have something to say about that. Let the games begin!!!

BTW The Spurs were one of the teams on Kobe's list. He and Pop goe way back and he has trememdous respect for Duncan and his work ethic (unlike Shaq). The Bulls and Knicks were the other I believe.

I would take Mark Gasol over his older brother any day. He has a better work ethic and in my opinion a better all around player.

It would be nice if we could get Bynum with certain stipulations. Must attend a 6 months NBA boot camp to attain the work ethic of a professional player getting paid millions of dollars. Hustle every damn night no matter how tired your out of shape ass may be. Focus on tasks at hand to help lead your team to a victory every night. I truly think Pop could change his thinking and style of play.

P.S. As far as Paul Gasol goes I am not sure if he will be a good fit in good ole San Antonio.
