Seeking housing

Can anyone recommend anything in terms of housing / rentals? Its kind of an emergency, the SO has a very nice job starting nextweek, and we can work with a deposit, we are in Independence, and the transmission fell out of our car, we had to put all our belongings in storage, please if anyone has any leads?

Kakes, have you looked on craigslist under apts/housing? They list houses and apartments like crazy on craigslist. I've been looking at houses on there and subsequent websites in the KC area...

yes, I have no one can do anything till the SO "has" his new job, but one just popped up we may get today!! *crossing fingers* glad you mentioned it, made me go back and take another look!

maybe try an extended stay hotel??
