"Leaving Soon!" Is This A Good Idea?

uparoundnoon's Avatar
No I'm not leaving SA or the hobby. I am posting this thread because I want provider's thoughts and hobbyists feed bak about the titles in ads that always shout "Catch ME WHILE YOU CAN" or "JUST HERE UNTIL TOMORROW" or "Hurry Boys I'm Gone Soon" etc. etc. etc.

I read hundreds of ads here and BP and other places that shout out "I'm a travelling girl passing thru. Now even tho it might be the case I wonder about the wisdom of every touring provider to yell this out front. Because personally I usually won't go see a provider who is only here for a minute. Not that I haven't seen a ton of out of town girls but they are usually ones who come thru regular like Samantha or Mya Mylanna or Courtney XO or girls who are from Texas that are pretty accessible. Like I've seen Foxxxy Roxxxy is Dallas based but I've seen 7 times because she was here a couple of times and I've driven to Austin to see her a couple of times. Or if a girl has dozens of good reviews and she's just my type. But other than that I skip them. And I look at hundreds of ads. And dozens of them say that.

I guess I feel if she is just skipping thru and gone for good then what incentive does she have to give me an incredible session and make me want to come see her again. Like FR says "addicting" and she is. Or also what if it IS an incredible session and I want to see her again and I never will.

Do most customers just want that 1 time experience for their memories? And so it doesn't matter if you are "HURRY GUYS.....LEAVING IN A COUPLE OF HOURS!" I'm the kind who likes to see them a few times because the sessions get better. I brought this up in the Locker Room before but this time I wanted to bring it up in CO-ED. OK I know you probably are travelling but why blurt it out in your ad instead of just saying you are available? Then it makes it look like you may just stick around a while longer or come back if you like it. Also i want to know if other guys are turned off by those headlines.

My feelings are the same as yours up. This is just one of my "red flags" that tells me I probably won't get the best session.

Other notable mentions: "I'm 100% whatever", "Hurry, I book fast", "& # @ : + $$ (with words in there somewhere)"
this is no different than the "im retiring", "im retiring for real", "ok, this time im REALLY, retiring" posts...
theyre silly

on the otherhand, maybe its a way of them filling a few spots before they leave
..maybe those post appeal to the guy, whos looking "right now"
thats my 0.02¢

I concur with Uparoundnoon. The "I'm gonna be gone soon"/retiring/"here for one day only" type of ad tends to make me skip on to the next girl and ad. I want to think I have a chance to see her again if it turns out I like her. And as far as the latter (one-day only visit) even if a girl keeps returning, it's difficult to hit a one-day target scheduling-wise.

Of course, this is different from a girl just letting us know she is going on hiatus/taking a break. Perhaps it depends on the girl, but I do not think this thread is directed at Karla or Mikaela.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you, nooner. Whenever I read an ad like that, for whatever the reason, my little warped-brains immediately thinks of one of those cheesy, discount, furniture store ads where they're,
"Going Out Of business and Closing The Doors Forever!"

Heh! I don't know why, it just does. (and don't try to figure it out for me. My mind is a very bizarre and dangerous place and certainly not for amateurs, so leave that for the pros. hehe)

But it certainly has the opposite effect on me than what the advertiser is intending. It's pretty-much a turn-off and I tend to shy away from those types of ads for the same reasons.

Just looking at the ads on the first page of weekend ads right now. There are 2 ads that say "Don't Miss Out...." and many many visitors. I guess what I'm try to say to providers is I don't think those bold headlines "LAST NIGHT IN TOWN" or "leaving at check out time" or whatever have the effect they are looking for and we see it all the time. It's worse on BP where it seems half the ads come off as just passing thru. Hell even the local girls seem to post "One Night Only" all the time. Just like SA has become a Mecca for tourists it seems also to be a Mecca for touring prividers. It seems like practically every provider lately is just passing thru.

But then again there is Ms. Prittikitti posting "specials for repeat lovers". That's the kind of shit I like.
Well thanks a lot LOL kidding. I know I was a pain in the ass. But ya'll made me feel so special. So damn it..I wanted people to say goodbye!

So what title do you think a travelling lady should use? I'm on the first day of a fun summer tour. I've never done an "official tour" before and I don't want to mess it up with language that would turn someone off.

atxdream IMHO the best approach when you are travelling is to simply state that you are here and available. Maybe state that you are new here or even that you are travelling. That leaves things sort of open ended like it may be 2 days or a month or even the summer. Like one girl came thru and every ad stated she was leaving real soon or something. Well she must have liked it because she stayed 3 months and kept running the same ad. Like 16 times it said "Leaving Tomorrow" or something. It was ridiculous. I'm just saying that the tone of "Last Chance Today" type of advertising probably doesn't get the results you seek. Four girls I see ended up doing good here about a year ago and they have all been back at least 5 or 6 times since. Two of them I see every time they come so it's like a regular girl. But I probably would never have even tried them if they had a "Last Night In Town" ad.

Ok, ahead of time - I am not stiring up sh*t. Don't freak. This is just how I feel - differently.

To me, there is a big difference between someone who posts "Last Day in Town" 5 days in a row - liar. And someone who is just providing you with info (and perhaps some advertising flair).

MANY ladies tour and are in town 2 days, 1 week, or a week and a half. I appreciate it when I see a traveler arrive and post "In town this week....rest of add..." and when she is thinking of leaving I appreciate that she updates her add and says, "2 days left". That way if I've been contemplating seeing her but procrastinating, I don't get blindsided and heartbroken when I say, "Today is the day!" and she's gone with no notice. An example of great status updating in her adds is sexisashamix.

Also, if I was in Florida for 1 week from NY, I had already been there half a week and finally got some hobby time, and saw Miranda post, "2 days left of my visit. Catch me while you can" It would let me know I need to schedule her before my Golfing excursion...not 3 days later.

Accurate info just helps you plan. Also, there is nothing wrong with a little razzle-dazzle, sensationlizing in advertising implying "You can always have her, why not try me?"

Obviously this applies more to sites like Backpage than eccie (where you can only post once). It's even MORE important on eccie to post your duration because you can't update it. "Visiting SA from 6/8-7/5". And setting apts via PM takes time.

For those that like building relationships, ultra-GFE, etc It doesn't have much to do with the add line, you just don't prefer short-term, traveling types. They, by their nature, are here a short time, then gone.

Personally, I them both. Locals AND Travelers. I my GFE's and my BNGs. I just beautiful women in general!

So, Thanks all you Providers! No matter what your add says.
