Lexus Mechanic

Anyone know a good Lexus mechanic who can also source used parts?

Thanks for the responses. To clarify, needing someone who can get the parts, not just install them. I don't mind doing the hunting if you point me in the right direction but I need someone who can tell me what exactly is needed and has the equipment to make sure said used parts are functional. The price of the new components makes it worth while to pay someone the labor to make sure the parts work.

Thanks

Having been the sort to scour salvage yards for older car parts in the past, it depends on the age of the vehicle whether they will be in a yard or not.

About the only reason a Lexus younger than 8-10 years old will be in the yard is if totaled beyond repair.

Several of the lots over in the Mid-Cities off elliot-Reeder Rd are part of an interchange market and can find the part for you in most cases.

COParts (that's what it was called last I was by there) over in Grand Prairie sells parts to those with a license, I thinl you need some sort of broker's license. Not really sure but you could check.

You might want to check to see if you can find someone with a WorldPac type account because they can get the parts a ton cheaper brand new than the dealer wants to charge you and they are the same part.
