I wonder if this increases the odds of a Rubio VP selection.

sure it does .. only problem is Rubio and Romney are somewhat at odds with each on immigration issues and that puts Rubio at odds with conservative republicans and tea party voters too

but someone needs to tell Will Romney needs to climb to reach 31%, he fell below that # long ago

Rubio needs more seasoning in the Senate. However, the governor of New Mexico is an Hispanic woman. Seems to be smart, too.

If Romney wants to increase his Hispanic vote he should choose the governor of New Mexico, Susana Martinez for VP. She's Mexican-American not Cuban-American like Rubio. Besides, Rubio was raised as a Mormon. He later converted to Catholicism. I think Romney might be reluctant to have a former Mormon on the ticket. I hear Mormons take a dim view of those who leave the church.

Yeah. Susan Martinez. That's the one I was thinking of. A much better choice than Rubio or Pawlenty. (Pawlenty? Really?)
