Where to dine on my next trip?

It was difficult coming back to Pittsburgh after eating at some of the wonderful restaurants in Dallas when I visited in March. Blue Mesa, Papadeaux's and i Fratelli Pizza left me wishing we had some great places here to eat!!

Besides those 3 great eateries, where else in Dallas is wonderful to experiment with? Reservations needed or not, does not matter. Where do you suggest? Also, what type of things should I check out when I am back down there this month? Any good art openings? Shows???

I appreciate your assistance, my darlings.

Hey Dawn.

Gloria's. There's one in Addison - SE corner of Beltline and the Tollway.

No reservations needed. There is nothing bad on the menu.

You should try the greatness of Fogo de Chao in Addison. I was there last night, and it is better than ever.

Thank you both! I will check both of these places out :-)
3 Forks
NaNa Grill at the top of the Anatole Hotel
Dragon Fly at the Hotel ZaZa
PaPas Brothers Steak House
Bob's Steak and Chop House
Brios Italian at Southlake Town Square
The Grill on the Alley at the Galleria
I like the smaller chef driven places like Kenny's in Addison off of Beltline, or my favorite Neighborhood Services at Lovers Lane Inwood Rd. in Dallas. Would like to take you next time you are in town if you would like a dinner companion...
No one mentioned The Grape on lower Greenville...tsk, tsk.

I don't think it gets enough credit. It's been around for ages and with good reason! If you try nothing else, get the mushroom soup. Don't think mushroom soup out of the can...this is orgasmic. So good that I bought the recipe book from them and make it at home. The braised lamb appetizer is amazing, as well..if you go for dessert, bananas foster.

It's a small, romantic European bistro...I love it!

If U like Chinese, then PF Chang's is a good selection.

For American there is Capital Grille.

There is a good Sushi place in Deep Ellum, pm me for the name of it as the name escapes me right at the moment,

Lots of great places in Dallas!

If you are near Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, I can recommend Loft 610 (try the Kobe Beef Carpaccio) and Jaspers. In the same area, Zea has the best hummus appetizer anywhere.
The Grape is an East Dallas neighborhood gem......french bistro style...excellent wine list....casual and smart.
