I thought, according to the "history of pizza" on ??? thin crust was New York style pizza and Chicago was thick crust
and thank you, I have been racking my mind on the 4 people who where over 50 when they found success
1. Col Sanders enough said he just moved his resturant to a location by a major highway
2. Ray Crock sold malt machines in a dieing business but noticed in Southern CA an increasing sales
3. Marriott a Morman send to Baltimore for his mission and noticed how well root beer sold there
4. Pizza Hut first franchise pizza chain, started in Wichita KS, was next to a bar and just opened a window between the bar and Pizza Hut Originally Posted by cptjohnstone

My favorite stuffed in Chicago was always Gino's east. In the suburbs I always liked the mom and pop places for a good thin crust and a good beef sandwich. Portillo's always had some good dogs and beef sandwiches. Also Homerun inn, Aurelio's,Traverso's and Foxs had some good food. Sorry, I could go on and on. Originally Posted by cubsoxbull
