Stood Up By New Girl Princess Myra in Weird Way.

So I noticed her BP ad and I called. I said I would be there in 30 minutes to drive over. She gave me hotel and location and said call when I'm there. Exactly 30 mins later I called and she answered and I said I was in parking lot and she gave me her room #. I went up to hotel front doors and it said it was locked from midnight to 6 am and admittance was only for guests. Wow. I got the # but can't get in. I called her about 4 or 5 times in the next 10 minutes waiting near the hotel door and she doesn't answer. Next thing I see this dude pull up in a sports car. Then she walks out (I could tell it was her by her pictures), doesn't notice me, and hops in his car and they drive off. I've had plenty of NC/NS's in my hobby career of 20 years but never had a girl give me her room # and then leave in front of me and never answer her phone.

Is this an omen? Should I now retire from this shit? I got an appointment, the room # and money in my hand and I still can't get laid. Ha! I think The Universe IS trying to tell me something. Like how many more nights of your life do you want to waste on this foolishness? Chasing young girls who are so popular because they have hot young bodies but they don't give a hoot because they think they are so cute.

Wow Uparoundnoon I think you are reading way to far it to the situation. Unless you have been thinking leaving the hobby before this happen and looking for an excuse. I too was stood up by Princess Myra yesterday morning. I showed up at the right time and place call her for the room # and nothing. I waited for about 45 mins and nothing no text or calls returned. I blew it off and went about my day. I get home about midnight and saw that she was advertising that she is working late. I called her and she answered this time. She was very apologetic and explained what happened in the morning. I figured if I still wanted this to happen I would just have to give her the benefit of the doubt. I then set up to meet her at the place you went to and had the same problem getting in so she came to meet me at the front (review to follow). I think Charlie Foxtrot said it best when he reviewed her.

"So basically remember this girl is very, very new and intends to be extremely selective in who she sees. If you really want to see her then I suggest be patient and most of all a gentleman. I suspect manners and respect will get you a long way with her. Also bear in mind she still doesn't really understand what hobbying is about."

In conclusion I don't think you should leave the hobby based on this one experience. I was in Germany recently and had a horrible experience in a brothel but the next day had an unbelievable one. If I would have gave up based on the first day I would have missed out big time. Just my opinion so take it for what its worth. Shit, you have more experience than me at this so you know what I am taking about.

I thought a hotel had to have at least one entrance open at all times for firemen, police, etc. I know I've been told by a girl to go around to the side or back entrance, which is locked, and she has come down and let me in. But that's just so I don't have to walk through the main lobby past whoever is on the night desk.

I guess if an emergency came up at this hotel between midnight and 6 am the responders would just have to break the door down.

Wow, what an experience. I would have just laugh it off, walked away and give pepper a ring. I have experience the locked door after midnight thing at some of these hotels.
