I'm flying to Vegas tomorrow and I'd like to ask some questions in here:
1. Where are your favorite bars on the entire strip if $$ wasn't a factor and why are they the best?
2. Are bath salts legal in Vegas?
3. Anything else you recommend in Vegas?
I usually go a couple times per year but it's mainly been to drink and have fun. I don't know all the best spots though.
As to number 2, they are illegal in Nevada and Texas, and if proposed legislation goes through, they'll be illegal everywhere in the U.S. before too long! You may want to edit out that request on account of it violating a board rule.
I'm not a huge drinker, and never been a strip club so I'm useless for inquiry no. 1.
As for recommendations in Vegas, the Bellagio water fountain show was always cool to watch at night if you need something cheap to do (AKA, more money to waste on blackjack and craps!). Hopefully the nights will be a bit cooler than the last time I was there though. Also, remember that prostitution is NOT legal in Clark County. If you decide to Hobby, be somewhat discreet, although I doubt seriously the cops really care a whole bunch.
Call ahead/check the website if you plan on going to see the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop from "Pawn Stars" on History Channel. Their sign says open 24 hours, but that is just for the night window. I know 3 people who all got screwed because they showed up too early or too late. And the line is supposed to be long to get in, so get there as close to opening time as possible. I didn't try to swing by when I was in town, but I hear it's kinda cool to walk through, especially if you're a fan of the show.
Bunny Ranch!!
And no no no to bath salts. If they really are messing up people that bad then I'd stay far away! We'd like to see you come back safe! Herbal medicine is better if you must absolutely use something.
I've only been to Vegas as a child so I wish I knew more. But make sure to tell us how it went!
If you're looking for a cool bar to hang at and drink Shadow at Cesears is cool. Drinks and hot chicks dancing behind a screen as a silhouette makes for a cool environment to chill out in.
Forget the bath salts, hit an oxygen bar and drink Red Bull and Vodka the rest of the night.
Cheetahs or Olympic Gardens are always a must stop in Vegas. Stumbled out of both with the sun coming up and sparkles on my face.
Two places in Vegas i love are The Rio Hotel and Suites. Nice dance club and the seafood buffett is awesome. A guy cannot go wrong checking out Olympic Gardens.
Casa Fuente cigar lounge in Ceasars is a nice place to sit and enjoy alot of eye candy....but you gotta like a cigar I guess.....
