Hey Makenzee,

You should give it a try, if you get there before 5:00pm it's only 5 bucks to get in.

They have a great variety of many different foods to try, and also have a good variety of many good beers on tap. I can't remember the name of a beer they have, but just a few of them and you need to take a cab home.

Prices for food and beverages are pretty good for a festival atmosphere.

Here is a list of the bands they have performing on the main stage.

Bud Light Main Stage

Taste Addison draws nearly 70,000 fans annually to enjoy its unique blend of fantastic food and world-class entertainment. For three days, some of the country's best touring groups entertain enthusiastic crowds on the Bud Light Main Stage in beautiful Addison Circle Park.

Friday, May 21

6:00pm Kyle Bennett Band
7:30pm Blue Condition
9:00pm Luke Bryan
10:30pm Chris Cagle

2:30pm Joseph Vincelli Group
4:00pm Robert Lee Kobb

It is a lot of fun. Traffic and parking are a huge pain but that is always the case with any event in Addison. Definitely something you should do if you have never been.

Well had another great time at Taste of Addison yesterday. The weather was a bit warm, but luckily there was a nice breeze. Went there with a few friends, the ladies enjoyed the wine tasting and the scotch tasting, while I was enjoying the beer. Drinking Stella on tap from the Flying saucer all day, couldn't beat the price $4.50 for a 16oz.

The eye candy out there was amazing, good thing the ladies I went with were just friends, so I didn't get in any trouble for checking out the scenery. I do have a stiff neck today though.

I have to tell you the funny part, we were walking through the area where all the vendors sell things, and all of a sudden, I see the girls are cracking up. I hear one of them say I wonder if it smells like fish. I ask them what the heck there talking about. The vendor was selling scented candles and they were selling one called "dirty cowgirl panties" Well we all smelled a sample but decided not to buy, but I still thought it was funny.

Then we were off to sample some of the food and really enjoyed the selection.
Anyhow another fun time at Taste of Addison.

Yeah, I had a great time out there as well! Very good eye candy! Nothing exciting happened, though.
Ugh I miss it every year. DAMMIT!

Cubsoxbull, I know of the candle vendor you speak of with the "dirty cowgirl panties" scented candles...they work First Mondays in Canton...great candles but I am not impressed with that particular scent. Clever name, though!
