Anyone have good knowledge of tenant rights for Texas?

I have a situation that needs to be addressed without going into great detail here, and I need to find someone who I can talk with who has a good understanding of tenants rights (apartments) in particular and issues concerning such.

If you are a property manager or you are a lawyer please send me a pm.

Thanks!

You might read what my old law school prof, Richard Alderman (aka 'The People's Lawyer') wrote here to see if it answers your questions:

"Landlord/Tenant Law"

If the information there doesn't answer your questions, the following is a more comprehensive discussion of Texas landlord-tenant law:

Texas Young Lawyers Association and State Bar of Texas, "Texas Tenant Rights"
Thank you ShysterJon,

Thank god for ex husbands..he helped me out today and got things resolved quickly. I will read the link you provided just for my own information. I am in the process of a major move out so I had a little hiccup concerning it today and finally resorted to calling in a favor.

Thanks again!
=)
