Tonsils and adenoids out?

Okay I had my tonsils and adenoids out on Friday, and I am still in sooo much pain! But the part that really sucks is I cant eat. I have been on a liquid diet since then and I am going to starve. They say now you cant even have ice creme, that the dairy makes the mucus to thick and will cause problems with the scab. So it has been freezer pops and jello. They are saying by the third week I cant start eating more stuff and 2 helpings of dairy but no chips or nuts for a month. Has anybody else had this done recently that they can share some words of advice for me? I am wanting to break down and eat like noodles but to scared. What do yall think?

Baby, You've been on my mind every since your surgery. I wish I could help, but don't know about this type of surgery.

Did you ask the Dr. if cum would help sooth your throat? How about a lady's squirt? lmao.

Luv ya, get well soon.

Tara,

Here are a few things you can try, I know it's not much but it's something.

Pasta noodles
Mashed Potatoes, either homemade or go to KFC
Lemon lime jello
orange popsicles
sherbet
bananas
applesauce (baby applesauce would probably be best)
apple juice
pudding
cottage cheese (yuk)

I got mine out last summer and for the first week it wasn't bad, and then the next week was SOOO bad. It hurt so bad to swallow and I couldn't eat anything and it was sooo frustrating. It was miserable, so I just stayed on my pain meds consistantly and had to tough it out. I ate lots of pedialyte pops, they have tons of electrolyes!

I feel so bad for you girl! If you need anything, let me know!
just cuddle up in bed and watch a movie, and take the pain meds and REST!!!
xoxo

I could come over and nurse you back to health.
Rub your back and feet ,and anything else you
would want rubbed, licked or kissed to take
your mind off pain

If you're ever in the "restricted food" category again, Gatorade is surprisingly good in some ways. It tends to be easier to keep down, helps out with your electrolytes, and seems to keep you from getting thirsty longer than a lot of other choices of drink. When I've had to not drink any liquids for some period of time for medical reasons, I've found Gatorade keeps the thirst down for a longer period than other choices.

However, with the sore throat, the acidity may or may not be a problem. Take a small sip first to see if you can take it.

I don't think Gatorade is a good thing to drink in general. Too much salt and sugar unless you have dehydration or other food problems.
