To Tour or not I tour...that is the question

But seriously....

I don't travel unless I am going to San Angelo, and when I am going there if I get no shows it whatever the trip still it's a bust...because I am from there and can find things to do. It seems that every time I leave town though someone calls me up from Abilene ...what the heck?!

I have been contemplating making some weekend trips to other cities but with my gents here I am wondering if it is worth it? Do any of you ladies who tour have a good base where you live? Do you feel like you miss out on more by leaving sometimes? I have considered traveling mostly when other ladies are in Abilene (you guys don't cut down on my traffic but if your in town I know my fellas will at least have someone else I see since I am practically the only local girl here)

I am also trying to decide my first city to go to...so fellas sound off on this one... I am thinking midland or Lubbock ?

Ok...input...go!

Ug..sorry about the typos...stupid "smart" phone

If you are thinking about Midland you have to plan in advance. Rooms are scarce and expensive there so advertising and some pre-booking is a must. That brings up another problem and that is pre-booking. From what some of the ladies have told me it is sometimes hard to pre-book because the oil field folks don't always know their schedule or when they may have to work overtime or get called in.

The thing to watch out for in Lubbock coming up quick is twofold. First, Texas Tech football. First home game is September 1st and rooms become scarce that weekend. So, ladies that want to tour Lubbock should know the home game schedule. And with the return of football will come the return of BP stings. So, if you are a lady that advertises both ways you need to be aware and make sure of your screening.
I knew about the midland hotel room scarcity...I hadn't thought about the oilfield guys not knowing their schedules......I am honking the second weekend in September (the 8th) for y travels.

I'd stay away from Midland!!! It's a waste!!! Go to Lubbock I love that place!! You get a lot of feedback here in Midland but then they all get Ghost when you get here...It seems to be the trend for Midland... Sorry guys!! :-(((

But I get what your saying about leaving and even on tour!!! As soon as I leave a town I just make myself aware that that's when my phone will start ringing for that Place!!! Sometimes to the point of turning around but sometimes You just gotta GO!!

Houston is way to far for me...I am thinking weekend trips evaluate I am in school for fall...Dallas could be good though.... Any input there?

I know I had asked you about this in past, but I am inclined to agree about Lubbock. It is very hit or miss dependent upon techs home game schedules, and you know about Midland... I would definitely look at the Dallas area even though I would rather be selfish and say come see me!!!!!
Xac maybe I will come see u I am thinking of traveling in early sept, will u be around?

I should be, but my schedule changes like crazy. But as special as it would make me feel, don't just come for me. Let me know what you decide, but I know the hotel rates are terrible here.
