Sure, I suppose it's easy to laugh when it's not your ass that's being thrown in prison for singing a song that the dictator did not like.
Personally, I find this sort of injustice in today's world very disconcerting.
You get some over-inflated self-important dictator throwing part of the world out of whack because of his idiotic whims and the rest of the world does not want to be drawn into a fight that does not directly concern them.
People are afraid to call him on his bad behavior because he might turn on them too!
We have seen this play out before on the world stage when a mad dictator keeps pushing the boundaries and the people keep burning with indignation until the the fuse to the powder keg finally reaches the point of explosion.
. . . So guess what happens next?

How about Muammar al-Gaddafi, Hugo Chavez, Kim Jong Il, Than Shwe, Hu Jintao, Robert Mugabe, Crown Prince Abdullah, Teodoro Obiang Nguema, Omar Al-Bashir, Saparmurat Niyazov, Fidel Castro, King Mswati III.....where do you draw the line?
Wheres the outrage? Every single one of these petty dictators has/had human rights violations and injustices against the people of their respective countries.
