I see this question come up a lot. I was wondering if a resource folder might be possible for ladies traveling to the major areas in Bama (H'ville, B'ham, Montgomery, & Mobile), that way the ladies (and gents too) would have a place that they could go for area info.
Locals could also make recommendations for the areas that they know best. For instance I know the Vestavia/Hoover/Pelham areas from having lived there for 25 years (and hoping to get back there if the job market ever improves (anyone need a z/OS Systems Programmer)). There are others that know the Hwy 280 corridor better than I do.
