Dominican Republic retreats - the reality

Has anyone gone to the D.R. to places like "Oxygen"?

I am thinking of taking a vacation and wouldn't mind going but I also want to make sure it's not a big rat motel & STD fest.

Any input would be appreciated.

This place gets much better reviews than the others in the Dom Rep.

No local girls......these all come from Europe.

Never been but I looked into it a few years ago.

Have not been to Oxygen but a good hobby buddy reports it was great, the girls are as depicted. Unlike charlisangels, the girls are more from south america. You get 3 'tickets' a day, 2 are for one-hour sessions, the third is an Overnighter. I believe charlisangels you only get 1 per day and it is more expensive.

The only negative he reported was the trip from the airport to the resort - driving past guys with assault rifles, etc.

You may or may not choose to consider where the earnings from such resorts may go...
