Gasoline appoaches $3.70 a gallon

A few months ago an idiot (who shall remain nameless) was bragging about how low the price of gas was and how Obama should get credit. He also attacked the right for not giving Obama any credit for great things like this. I responded at the time that Obama (and for that matter George Bush) had no real control over the price of gas directly. That is why Obama was so quiet and not taking credit (unlike the idiot posting) because he knew the price would turn around (just like the rest of us did).

So I ask the mystery poster if you want to apologize for your accusations and general stupidity. You lower the collective IQ on this site with your presence.

The MSM was also bragging on it almost daily. They said gas in Kansas was below 3 bucks a gallon and I kept wondering what part of Kansas they were talking about.

Wow!! $3.70 per gallon for gas!?!? Fill me up!! Lowest price around here $3.99 - I just wanted to offer some perspective - I'm hoping the idiot you guys are talking about isn't me....but then again, I did just fill-up my Jeep at $4.05 per gallon so, maybe I am an idiot!!

Prices rises and fall with little regard to the actions by the US. Prices are set by speculators who look at a WORLD picture. The US has actually seen it's consumption drop and has started to export rather than import so why has prices started to rise. WE CAN'T CONTROL IT! Of course whoever the president is will take credit or get hammered. What happens if Mitt becomes president and the price goes about $4.00 and he is powerless, what then?
