The "Call Girl Principle"
I had not heard of this. Any comments?
The “call girl principle” states that the perceived value of a service declines precipitously after that service has been performed. AND in the case of a particularly urgent need, the recipient may come to disparage the service and resent or even despise the provider.
Dear Mr.RickForFun:
I believe the 'Call Girl Principal' is flawed logic when applied to the business of Escorting, while making perfect sense for Salespeople or Plumbers the very nature of OUR Business makes it irrelevant...simply put We are here now Were gone perhaps they should rename it the 'Sugar Baby Principal'.

I agree other than to say maybe it should be "The Backpage Call Girl Principal"
Dear Mr.RickForFun:
Absolutely in total agreement with you there in the fact that "value of a Service declines precipitously after that service has been performed", yet we have a whole section here where Gentleman attempt to receive information on the unverifiable Providers...although I DO use Back-Page to advertise I'll always Post it in reference to my 'ECCIE Showcase'.
XoX,
Haruka
It all depends on the level of service and the quality. Just as you may go to a fine restaurant with great reviews, you may leave feeling like you've had better food for less money. Same applies to escorts and other services/products.
How many guys here have seen a girl and left unsatisfied or felt overcharged? MANY!!!
We all have a perceived expectation and we're willing to pay the price, but when the reality doesn't meet expectations the value of the service and the return on the investment declines.
Regardless, whether the service is good or bad, I think we all walk away thinking, "I can't believe I just spent that much money."
