Do genes influence our politics?

Interesting article about a new study possibly linking one's political views and behavior to genetics. What do you think?

I can see it now. The libs will want to be a protected class so anytime you tell them how stupid they are it becomes a hate crime. Afterall it's not their fault it's genetic.

True, it does give a built-in excuse to all the crazies along the entire political spectrum. It can also be a scary thing in the 'Big Brother' scenario if they ever do discover how genetics work in total and start modifying in that direction.
