Hey girls and guys, I have gotten a few requests to come to new orleans...just wondering if it is worth it and when. I know there's some crazy stuff going on now, thats why I feel its best to ask ya'll. When would be best and where on earth to stay

The French Quarter, warehouse district, the garden district are all in pretty close proximity to each other. The first 2 suggestions, parking may be an issue unless you valet. There are quite a few public parking garages in those areas too. The garden district is easier on the parking, so I hear.
There is so much to do and see and experience in New Orleans!
As in any major city, be careful and have fun!
