CONVINCE ME NOT TO SAY GOOD BYE

SO I'VE BEEN THINKING OF RETIRING FOR AWHILE.

WITH MY TRAVELING BK & FORTH & THE LADY'S NOT BEING AS DEPENDABLE AS THEY USE TO BE.ITS BEEN A LITTLE HECTIC.
BUT THEN I GET THE ONES THAT WANT TO CONTINUE AND ARE DEPENDABLE SO THAT MAKES ME WANT TO CONTINUE.....HELP WHAT DO YOU THINK ?
you are just too damn good to let this slip away Debbie....
If you think that you need time off, you can do that. Get your head straight. Then when you think that you are ready, you can come back invigorated.

You are a blessing to so many girls. If it wasn't for you who knows what would happen to them? You do an awesome job on screening and you are more than likely saving lives.

If you leave, I'm hunting you down and taking back the Orange Cross Pen...I mean, is the hassle still worth it?

PS: say hi to the tatted one

Life is short. Do what makes you happy. That said, it sounds like you are helping people that need it. That is not a bad way to live. Frustrating at times I am sure, but if done with integrity, a worthwhile job.

Running a buisness must be stressful, but seems like everyone likes you I would take some time off and then come back with a clear head and be ready to do what you do best!! Good luck to ya babe

No just take a couple days off then go right back at it. The emotion has to be put aside on the 9 to 5 things in life. Play it (life & love) like a video game, to win, you get back up and wipe the dust off then go do your thing.

Simplify the schedule to just 3 or 4 days a week and cut the ladies down to say to the 3 or 4 who are most reliable.

Debbie, it sounds like you love what you do but are just exhausted by "the now"
I say:
#1 Fire one of the undepedable ones and let EVERYONE on your crew know it.
That alone could change your whole dynamic (to easier)
#2 If that doesn't work, fire ALL of the undependable ones; then see how you feel.
If once the "machine" is running fine again and you still feel burned out, then yeah, maybe a short Va'cay is needed. (Taking one too soon could worsen things as the troops become even more chaotic when left alone)
#3 If that doesn't work, close up shop for an extended break...and see if you miss it.
If you miss it, re-shape your biz back into the model that made you happy in days gone by, it will make you happy again.
If you don't miss it, maybe it is time to move on (until you do, if ever). At least you tried all the other approaches first to make sure you wont feel regret.

Best of Wishes!
