What is our definition of extreme right?

I keep hearing all about the extreme right's position. What exactly is the extreme right? And what is their position. I honestly have no idea how you truly think we are. Maybe we can clear up a few things if you talk with us.

I define extreme left as communists, Marxist, socialist that want the government to control every aspect of our lives. I define it as 50% of our countey on welfare I define it by redistribution of wealth. It's mine, I earned it and I will decide what to do with it.

So what is the opposite of that? And do you believe that's where most of align ourselves.

Ps Im typing on a phone that self corrects when it shouldn't. Please forgive my typos.

The moral majority is usually associated with the extreme right.

I maintain that the conventional left/right classifications are sloppy. BUT - what I understand the tenets of this conventional far right thinking would be:
1. Federal ban on abortion in ALL cases.
2. Regressive taxation is best - reward winners, punish losers.
3. Only legitimate federal spending is for the military, and military spending should be without limits. Whatever it takes to keep us "free."
4. States can do whatever they want. You don't like the laws of Mississippi? Then move to Massachusetts.
You won't hear this from Mitt and the gang on TV. But I have several family members who are staunch Republicans, and these are their beliefs.

I think a better spectrum as total left being 100% government control (Communism, fascism, dictatorship) and total right being 0% government control (anarchy - everyone for himself.) Because in reality, both extreme left (communism) and extreme right (dictatorship) are really the same - 100% government control.

Extremes in both directions lead to essentially the same place. Totalitarianism. Figure out how much control over you life one or the other side wants, and the more control they want, the more extreme they are.

Essentially, a person is an extremist if they want you to stop doing something you want to do.

As Submodo alludes to, think of philosophies, or more accurately, behaviors related to philosophies as being circular rather than linear. Consequently, the points that are supposedly the furtherest apart are actually the closest together. That's probably where the term "circle jerk" came from - j/k. I can't really add much to Submodo's 4 points that would advance their definition of certain characteristics regarding the extreme right.

The extremes of both "sides" are the most tribal and homogenous of sorts. Both insist upon blandness, fealty and uniformity to the exclusion of critical thinking, not to mention a Pavlovian attraction to Beck's chalk dust, if you're a righty-tighty..
