What's the deal with all the pop ups?

Every time I click on the next page I want to view I am being directed to a "find sex tonight" ad. I have to close it. Before I can go to the page I chose. My pop up blocker is on. What's the deal. I don't pay for premium access to be bombarded with this crap!

I don't think it's on my end because it happens on both my iPad and iPhone.

Well, now you can disregard my question. It's not happening now. Who knows?

I have been getting the same thing. Although i never got them before, my premium status has expired. I assumed that to be the issue. It is annoying.

It would be nice if a staff member would address my original question as I requested. Since the problem appears to be on ECCIE's part and not the members.

It's my understanding that pop ups happen when you first sign into Eccie. And then, they stop if you stay signed in. I'm sure that someone else will come along and add to my statement.

Otherwise, please note that moderating is a volunteer position and the mods in the New Orleans area might have been out and about on a Sunday doing something else. Or ... they simply didn't see your post.

I just ran across your topic because you added another notation to it and it was under new posts.

Hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Elisabeth

I have stayed signed on for wks and it started happening again this morning. Not sure if your theory is correct.
Is this still a problem?

I haven't gotten one today, but I haven't been on the site much. I know I got one yesterday. It was an Eros pop-up.
I have never had a pop-up.

I use the latest 3 versions of IE (depending on computer in use at the time) and I have never once received a pop-up the whole time I have been on ECCIE in over 1.5 years.

We don't have those kinds of problems in Unimatrix Zero, you see...

Lately i get one each time i click on a sub-forum, not the individual threads, just the sub-forum. I use Firefox. I got one just now, its been happening for a few weeks now. I only get popup on this site and nowhere else on the net.

I've just gotten 3 in a row clicking on a review thread, a ISO thread and the indy review sub-forum. All Eros pop-up ads.
