HHHMMMMM???? I never could do this

DallasRain's Avatar
I recieved an email today from a reputable provider's yahoo group that made me go "Hhhmmmmm???"!!!!!!

Heres the jest of what she wrote:{quoted partially}

I NEED AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIABLE TO COME SEE ME IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS--- I AM GETTING KICKED OUT OF MY house OVER a small amount of DOLLARS SO I HAVE SO MANY DAYS TO MOVE AND I NEED THE MONEY SO I CAN FIND A New PLACE TO LIVE--- THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP

{IMO}... I just think that it is so tacky for a provider to disclose personal needs and "beg" for something from a hobbyist!
I guess I just feel that if I get that desperate,I will offer a special for my regulars....As a provider I feel I do not have a neccissity to disclose my "personal needs" to a hobbyist...he is the guy I should have no personal obligations for ...the only time I am obligated to him is when we have an appointment!!

I don't care what he looks like{Homer Simpson/Peter Griffan/Tom cruise/or sean connery}.......F*ck it.....it makes no difference to me...I am still gonna treat him like he is the most special thing in my life during our session!!

I would never dream of imposing my financial needs on those who have no "personal" connection to me...If i cant get thru it,then dammit I am gonna go ask my momma or sisters for help!

I am happy with my personal life..I have been thru poverty and i have been thru riches...I have a succesful career now{I just wish my clients would give me a review once in awhile!...lol}

Now I am not saying she is a bad person because of it....she seems to be a great provider ......she is probably doing what she feels she has to do to get by....But there just seems to be other ways around things!

Yall's opinions please...
THX!!
I agree Dallas. Its never a good idea to air your laundry, or lingerie, to the general public. One door closes, and others open.
I also agree...

Dallas, I'll write a review on you after we have lunch..

Would this still be considered tacky if the provider was hurt medically and couldnt pay bills and asked for help as well.....I feel this situation you speak of is similar to that one. Its still personal business. But I'm sure the same people who hate this approach, might love a post about sending proceeds to a hurt provider. But its generally the same thing.

I generally try not to include myself in personal matters past discretion and respect with providers. Usually thats when pillowtalk goes wrong and its uninteresting at that point. I think if people want to help people they will......i dont think its tacky if people ask for help in any capacity........just as people shouldnt take it as tacky that I wouldnt be so reluctant to help someone I didnt know just cause I had a former BCD session with them.

It takes a big person to actually ask for help, but again if I didnt plan on lending assitance, I wouldnt judge them based on their plight. I'm sure others would be sensitive to it, but I dont see why.
What a tough situation. Assuming it's true, we just have to compassion on someone facing such circumstances. But I agree with DR. Seems a bit, "hyper-aggressive." I think I just made up a word.
Dallas. Everybody has a different situation in thier lives, she may not have family to fall back on, they may not be around or don't want anything to do with her. I've seen both. Then there are the special deals made to repair things when cash is low, like a barter. Sounds like she was caught off guard maybe by the timing of having to move real fast, she's not asking for a hand out, instead she's offering her services but needs more volume. You didn't mention if she is offering a rate reduction, thats a sure sign times are tough.
I guess that comment about Homer Simpson, you were referring to me. LOL

No..thats a different situation.....there have been providers that have medical issues arise and their fellow brethern have asked for help for them...that kind of situation is beyond their control...

True..but she offered no special deal or incentive...If she needs to make a "quick few bucks",seems that would be the way to go

And no you are NOT Homer Simpson babe..lol!

.............................. .............................. ................

this is not a thread to judge anyones's character!!!!! I was just expressing my opinion on how this "plea" was made....She did not offer a special or a special incentive to clients.....personally I would have offered a special rate to clients.....Even if it meant charging $50hr....You have to do whatever it takes to make it..BUT you need to be wise in how you approach it!!!!

I have seen providers run these kind of "begging" ads over the years and it just seems so tacky...sometimes it is the same provider running the same ad a few monthes later! It is kind of like a store going out of business sale that never ends!

IN MY OPINION---there should be no reason to involve our "business associates" in our personal troubles{UNLESS it is a dire medical need}

Like I said earlier,I am not judging ANYONE..I am just using this ad as an example!

Thanks for answering!!!!!!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I will take you up on that sexy!!!
Not know who you are talking about or the situation, but I honestly could see someone doing this. I mean, she is probably scared to death about not having a place to live and has no safety net. I honestly can't pass judgement on her, I just feel sorry for her.
I could write at least 2 testimonials in regards to my deeply ingrained survival instincts. But the fact that I am still alive and kickin is proof enough of tenacity. I never asked anyone to help me. Then again, I do come from a different era.....
When I saw the title"What I would never do" I had to open that. Then when I saw what it was,I said ok, I can't see Dallas doing that. But when I first saw the title, it had me wondering. What on earth wouldn't she do? I thought she was open to almost anything. LOL I agree with you Dallas, although we have never met, I don't think you would ever do that either.That is kinda like begging if you ask me.

Things happen, a cry for help if legit is hard; and to do so when in crisis is indicitative of a deeper issue / circumstance. Not doing so displays a sense of pride and professionalism, yet a true cry for help is hard to resist to those with compassion. Maybe with a little luck things will turn around and she’ll be on her feet in no time enjoying life like the rest of us J

Can’t wait to ride it like I stole it!!

I don't mean to sound harsh or un-sensitive if there is such a word but I get up every morning at 6 am and go to work making very good money at what I do. If I ever came on hard times where I was going to be kicked out on the streets; I would flip burgers, deliver pizza, sell news papers, cut grass, drive a taxi, clean shiters, wait tables, drive a school bus, or clean houses if I had to. If you are not making it in this business, time to change professions and get your financial well being on track. People know what there financial situations are and If there is any question where your next meal is going to come, time to work harder!

I am an individual that enjoys helping others who are in geniuine need. It actually brings joy to my heart knowing I have helped my fellow man or woman in this case. I do things for people not to get things in return but for that joy I just expressed.

That being said, I have a hard time believeing or trusting the ad or any ad for that matter, that's why I research on this board. Any lady can claim I am being booted out, until I believe it is true, I move on. Now if Dallas or any of the other reputable ladies on here were to ask for help, I would offer as their credibility is high with me.

As far as service, I do not really want to see a lady who is worried about being homeless - How much fun is she really gonna be? She will not be into the session as she will be worried where is she sleeping tonight? So, I do not respond to those ads.

Financial help is needed by almost everyone at some point in their lives, choosing who we ask for that type of help, I think, should be carefully considered.

I agree with you Dallas I do not think it is a wise advertising scheme, just my.02.

Oh, Dallas you need a review? I love to write and I love to research the material for my writings, lol.
I could use some financial help and reviews too! I promise, I will enjoy every second and every drop!
