You should check with Lea Madisson she is based out of Jackson and is a female mod so she should be able to give you all the info you need. Ladies have fun and be safe
Thank you for the info. I shall do so.

The Mexican food here tastes like crap. It sucks. All of it. Trust me. Definitely not Tex-Mex. The fried chicken at Julep is good. Better than Two Sisters IMO. (Two Sisters is overrated). If you like pizza, Pizza Shack is the shit!!!! Best pizza I've ever had. Burgers and Blues in Ridgeland is really good if you like hamburgers. Chimneyville on State St. has decent pork bbq. It's not beef. They don't know what chicken fried steak is in Jackson. Cracker Barrel's country fried steak is the best it gets. (Cracker Barrel is on I-55). Char is a good steak place. Que Sera Sera has good Cajun if you like that. Cock of the Walk (Yes, it's really called that! lol) has decent fried catfish.

Hope this was helpful.

If you dont mind a little drive (about 6miles +/- ) South on Hwy 49 towards Hattiesburg, you have Berry's Seafood... they have a buffey or order.... fried fish, crab legs, frog legs, quail, just to much to name...

Blah!!! If you're looking for quality & variety food you're not going to find it in Mississippi.

If you're more interested in where to stay in Jackson and a general idea on the clients in Jackson PM me.

I wouldn't recommend any food in Jackson, but I'm definitely biased!!! Cajun & Soulfood are basically the same and gets monotonous after a while Char in Jackson is okay at best . Oh yeah I almost forgot about Bonefish they have great shrimp!!

But that is just my 0.02!

Be safe and have fun no matter where you decide to eat LOL!

I agree with brer!
Later this week I'll be in North Ms and looking forward to the good food. I love the Mom and Pop places that are scattered in the area. Did I mention catfish? Love it and will only eat it at one particular place. Is it fine dining? Oh heck no, but you sure can't find that kind of good eatin' in Atlanta.

Be safe Iris.
