On Saturday I got the brilliant opportunity and pleasure of lying around in front of the lens of the outrageously talented Russell Kenna known on eccie as John_Deere. Guys, I hope you love these as much as I do. Ladies!!! This photographer is really really wonderful all around. He completely understood what I wanted in a gallery set, as he spends time perusing our photos as one of the guys, and not just as a professional photographer.
We collaborated over about a week prior to meeting to shoot and he encouraged me to communicate as much as I liked about ideas and concerns and goals for my shots. He was professional but personable and I feel like he brought out the best in me as a very inexperienced model. I truly felt at ease posing nude with him, he never overstepped any boundaries at all, something I was always concerned about when a "photographer" offered to do pictures for me. No worries here, he is the real deal. I have never responded to an offer before, but his personal story and gallery sold me on taking a chance. I think I really hit the jackpot!
