should providers be able to view their reviews?

I tell my family, this is not a democracy, but anyway, I am curious to know what the people really think when they can be anonymous, and whether I am in the minority or not.

Doesn't matter to me either way. I think providers should be able to respond to their reviews, at the very least say thank you for a positive review. It would encourage more provider input on the board.

Not that the old e.com reviews were worth a damn, I remember that the girls could read them. There was a lot of monkey business going on in that they were allowed to have negative reviews pulled seemingly at will. That shit shouldn't be allowed to fly around here. It's not likely the rules are about to be changed anyway.

See if this makes sense:

-Hobbyist posts a review, says whatever he wants in ROS.....

-Shortly thereafter, by whatever means, the provider gets to see the review, or hear of it....

-If provider is upset, she says so in the powder room......

-The hobbyist hears about it or sees the powder room post, by whatever means......

Problem solved, in a roundabout way. Everyone knows what everyone said......

it is interesting as we know providers can eventually see there reviews if they try hard enough. There is a bit if delay.

obviously, if the client knew the provider would get instant access, then it may change or discourage some of the disclosure of the review. but if there was a delay, say 15 days, then it is sort of old news, would it allow for full disclosure? That is sort of what is happening now

In Portland OR/Seattle WA, there are two regional boards (hobbyhunter, tnaboard) that allow ladies to read reviews (or anyone can read, without premium access). The ladies are able to offer their appreication with a thanks, or encouraging word for a repeat visit. There is some drama that comes out from that feature, but overall it seems to work well for those boards.

Ladies can read their reviews on other boards. What's really the harm of letting them see it if you're being honest in the review?? Wait...don't answer that..

I was a member of a board in Michigan that was shut down. The ladies could read and comment on their public reviews. Most of the time ladies would comment to say thanks for maybe mention a special detail of the date.

There were also private rooms that supporters could post in, to put in the fiery details of the appointment, much like the ROS. Now since there were no ladies in the Mens Only Areas, you could say whatever you wanted. Of course there was leaking of information to the ladies by a few men, and when caught, if they were caught, they were vacationed for an amount of time.

I don't see a problem with allowing the girls to see the reviews and responding.

I think it would be more fun.....they could even point out something we might even left out of a review.

I voted Yes. However, it would make me think twice about including in a positive review information about a physical feature that did not bother me, but might bother some other hobbiests. When I describe a provider, I think I have some responsibility to the reader to point out things that might influence their decision to book or not. On the other hand, the gentleman in me makes it hard to point out negative physical details about someone whom I liked and with whom I had a positive experience. Such squeamishness, of course, would not apply to providers who misrepresented themselves. I suppose some other hobbiests may feel this dilemma and others may not.

I think that a provider should be able to read her reviews. In fairness than, shouldn't I be able to read what they might say about me? While I shudder to think of what that is, I guess I would be fair game if fair is what we're talking about.
