Sorry But I don't know about agency, but maybe if you lowered you donation you would get more business?

this is just a suggestion: lowering your rate, or offering a special once in a while, would help you more, than working for an agency, as an agency would keep at least 1/3 of your donation, and that would leave you with less cash in your pocket. think about it.
Well said Jack and good advice.

Yeah, she goes with an agency and lowers her price from 3 bills to 2.4

She coulda just set her price at 2 bills and probably done a whole lot better.

So true it hurts. She could of even went to $240 ... at least she'd get to keep the whole $240 then and not give the agency a cut.
You may want evaluate what your TMV is, True Market Value. That's how cars are bought. Supply and demand. $240 is probably not your TMV. I think your TMV is lower than 200. I am not being rude or crude, just matter of fact. With that being said, an agency is not the way to go. You out marketed yourself. You might wanna start that qh,hh,3/4hr and visits.

Stephanie,
You are a good looking woman and I would definitely consider seeing you but here is the deal. You are basically unknown. Not many guys around here are willing to TOFTT at your current price point. You are asking for the same donation as some of the well established and highly reviewed and thought of providers in Houston.
Like it or not your association with your recently UTR or retired friend has given many of us pause about you. I know it's not fair and that that you did not do anything wrong but that's just the way it is in this world. Guilty by association. Good reviews will help overcome that.
There are only a few providers on here that manage to keep their good reputation by being frequent posters. Be careful what you say and how you say it.
You should seriously consider the advice given on this particular post. All of the guys that have responded so far know what they are talking about. Brooke too.
The advice in a nutshell: Drop the agency, Drop the price point to something reasonable for someone with your limited exposure. Advertise only in the providers ad sections but let us know a little about who you are(as a provider, of course). Run a review special even if your only offer it to some of the better known and respected reviewers. Once your phone starts ringing off the wall you can make a decision then about how many client you want to see.
Good luck.

Your problem Stephanie is that you posted on a board full of guys whose favorite phrase is "Attention K-Mart Shoppers". If they could talk you into giving it up for a C-note they would. There are a couple of good agencies in town. The thing is that the agency should not be considered long term. Just long enough for you to meet people who will refer you to other people and then you are on your way.

Also remember to take good care of business. Return your calls and messages! I'm still finding my way around, but see how quickly the label "flaky" is used because of poor communication skills. In the extreme case, you saw how feathers and fur can fly with a NCNS accusation.

BTW, she was reviewed back in April (not by me)

Boardman is my manager. However he makes me call him "bossman". He also tells me what to post. So if I piss anyone off ... PM my manager, not me :-)
