Is it really necessary to point out that Reagan was not the incumbent and that Mondale as the sitting VP was the closest thing to an incumbent in that debate? I didn't think so. Funny what people whine about when they get their butts smacked.

Obaminable is no Reagan, .... the only comparison might be as to Romney, because the snotty nosed liberals in this country belittled Reagan also and tried to label Reagan also. Didn't work.

The reason it doesn't work is that snotty nosed liberals have the precconceived notion that they are smarter than everyone else and that all the rest of the people are just ... "idiots" ... "Tea wipes" ... and other childish references ... when someone is too mentally deficient to have anything of substances to say as an original thought .... for instance:

"Not that any of you Tea wipes are smart enough to understand wtf this might mean..."

If that makes you think you appear "smarter" then "everyone else".... then you might want to enter some 12-step program for non-intellectuals ...

... the greatest intellectual mind to have graduated from Harvard Law School ... just got whipped!

Live with it. With a 67% agreement that he got whipped ... you want to be with the 23%?

He's got a couple of more swings .... to at least get on first base.

Hopefully his next at bats will be at a lower altitude to satisfy the "Gore-syndrome" ...

although "Fat-Al" overlooks the fact that Obaminable has been "way above" everyone else in the country and should have no problems expressing his opinions at "high altititudes" ... with a teleprompter of course ..... kind of like some posters who address others with ...

"Not that any of you Tea wipes are smart enough to understand wtf this might mean..."

Obaminable is a loser. And anyone who buys his snake oil again .... can only blame themselves. The rest of us, who recognized his shortcomings, will be busy preparing for the next four years of recession-inflation and bracing ourselves for continued assaults on our property and disrespectful flag burnings, not to mention continued border agents being killed, overseas citizens being kidnapped and killed, and flat-lined unemployment ... so "we" can take from 185 million citizens to shore up 15 million who have no insurance coverage for their ailments. ... for which they are issued a handicap sticker for the Escalades at Walmart!

"Still, Obama needs to get a Red Bull into his system for next time, because former incumbents with a bad second debate — Ford, H.W. Bush, and Carter come to mind — don't tend to get their second term."

JD, in the future you probably should check your facts prior to posting. It really does make you look like a fool!

Just sayin'

Yep, punted that one. Three hours sleep last night. In my defense (and much to the chagrin of WTF) Kerry and Gore were leading at this point as well.

This explanation might be too difficult for you to understand, but.....The Reagan/Mondale debate means nothing to this election.....at the time of that debate the country was in full economic recovery mode......presently, we're experiencing the worst economic recovery since the Great Depression......[on a side note, you do realize there was no Great Depression in Europe....FDR's policies only extended the Great Depression in the US......liberalism has failed everytime it has been applied]

If his performance in Wednesday night's debate was the best thing that could have happened to Mitt Romney, today's jobs numbers, which showed the unemployment rate dropping below 8 percent for the first time in 43 months, are probably the worst.
Between the debate and this morning's unemployment report, much has changed in the space of just a few days, and the candidates are barnstorming the battlegrounds in a quest for votes.
Last night, Romney drew a crowd of 6,000 who were treated to country music stars and fireworks in Virginia. Obama attracted a whopping 30,000 in Madison, Wisconsin Thursday afternoon.

That is WTF I have been trying to tell you Tea Wacks. You elected a snotty nose asshole that does not connect with the average joe.

Combine that with increased car sales and the present lower unemployment numbers and Romney needs a huge miracle. Kinda like you need a refresher in presidential history.
