TSA Abuses Cancer Victim

This woman, who has 4 months to live, was humiliated by the TSA. This organization needs to be stopped.

From the article:

Just when you thought they couldn’t sink any lower, a story emerges from Seattle where TSA agents forced a young woman who is dying from leukemia to lift her shirt to expose feeding tubes, removed bandages from her recent surgeries, and broke open an IV bag of saline solution, all in full public view.

Read more about her experience here:

The TSA’s website states that “TSA officers are trained to perform pat downs in a dignified manner and, at any point, passengers can request a private screening with a witness present.” A TSA statement issued late Tuesday, claimed that after reviewing video from the security checkpoint it was determined that “screening procedures were followed.”

isn't that what the Gestapo .. er TSA always say?

The Israelis laugh at the TSA. They haven't had a major security incident at Ben Grunion Airport in decades. And they live in the heart of Islam. Know why? they profile. and it works. they don't waste time screening 4 year kids and blue haired grandmas. they screen young arab men, you know, the kind that actually commit acts of terrorism. In the knee-jerk reaction to 9/11 the TSA police state was born. This should have been the job of the FBI in the first place. Another thing the TSA doesn't want you to know. all Airports can, if they want, opt for private screeners. San Francisco is a prime example. Well those dam liberals in CA got something right. for once.

COG get real.

How many thousands of people fly everyday? There's very little abuse to passengers.

You can find unfairness and bad manners anywhere you go..

Why do you think it would be any better if a airline employee grabbed your junk?

Some airlines may have more reasonable screening measures than others. I could choose which airline to fly. In a private company, this guy would be fired on the spot. I'll bet he's still working for TSA.

The TSA does not need to be stopped, it needs to go away completely as in cease to exist.

The airlines need to be responsible for the safety of the flights and can profile all they want as long as they do not discriminate.

I also think that an airline should be able to decide if they want to allow smoking on routes that are served by another carrier.

As long as it's not you or someone close to you, i'm sure you're cool with that, yeah?

So TSA screeners are "rude Tourists" like Americans in France? These people aren't tourists.

Exactly right. It should be the job of the FBI. And why do we need the NSA AND the CIA? but i digress ..

It works for the Israelis, it'll work here too.

New Law Clears the Way for Airports to Drop T.S.A. Screeners

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/16/us...-tsa.html?_r=0

The law was welcome news to Larry Dale, president and chief executive of Orlando Sanford International Airport, who said his airport’s request to opt out of using Transportation Security Administration officers last year was denied by the federal government.

“We’ve visited a number of airports who have opted out of the T.S.A. screenings, and no one wants to go back,” Mr. Dale said. “We think this will be more efficient and customer-friendly for us.”

About damn time. At least for now, Congress still listens to the People. If they think they may get voted out of office at least.
