A lot of where I am today, and what I do is based on the peer pressures I had growing up, not only within my family, but also without; with neighbors and friends.
Had it not been for that peer pressure I would have lived a much wilder life, experimented a lot more, taken a lot more risks, and so on.
You get the idea.
I wonder where I would be today had it not been for that pressure. Without a significant other? Without family? Would my life be revolving around sex...it being the biggest goal in my life (which is different than now)?
Needless to say, freedom would be key. Free to experiment. Free to take wild risks. Free to try anything. All my life I've been afraid of the consequences. I wish I'd lived more without that kind of fear.
So, where would you be if you could have lived your life with no holds barred? (Maybe some of you have.)
