After the election

How much damage do you think they will do to the country and whitehouse when he's voted out. He still has two months to do whatever he wants or can. Remember what it looked like after Clinton? Man she was pissed.

Obama will probably increase the use of executive orders to implement radical policies. It's my understanding that any policy, put in place with an executive order, can be cancelled with an executive order.

Romney should make a public statement that he will review all EO's made after November 6 and cancel anything that is unconstitutional or not in America's best interest, in his judgement.

I also think Romney should end collective bargaining for all federal public worker unions, which did not exist prior to John Kennedy's executive order made in 1962. Federal workers are overpaid and have benefits that are far more generous than comparable workers in the private sector; it's time for that to end.

You said it Ekim, none of us did.
Post Election will be soul searching time for the American left and Democrats.

At some point in time, the Democrat Party, and the Media (redundant, I know) will have to come to grips with the damage they have done to International Socialism by putting Obama the Unready into the Oval Office.

I'm guessing that epiphany will come upon them at about 10:00 pm, election night.

WHO ARE "THEY?"

That's a really fucked up thing to say, Kayla. But par for the coarse (yes, that's the word I meant to use!)

I expect you will be correct about the time for the election results will be called on the evening of Nov 6.

The sooner, the better with me.

Do you think you could also write Romney's concession speech?

. . . I mean before you commit suicide, of course!

Nobody can make a plausible defense of socialism at this point. I had hoped that the collapse of the Soviet Union would mark the beginning of a world wide turning away from socialism; it didn't, at least not to the extent that it should have.

It looks like the coming collapse of the European Union will be the next monumental failure of socialism. I hope America can change it's course before we're destroyed by it.

I don't think we will have an "official" winner until later in the month. There will be lawsuits and recounts. The press will take sides and the war will go on. I expect Romney to win but we're going to have to jump through some hoops before the democrats give it up.

Joe we must have the same source. It's too bad all we have here are the ubber left. I love talking to blue dogs. They are some of the nicest most wonderful people. If it weren't for people like Obama or soros or all the Muslim groups that support them or are linked to them, I'd probably vote democrat more often. Oh well. God gold and guns works too.
