Active group aren't they? There are tons of good places to eat in town, depending what you like. Cajun/Creole/Seafood restaurants are popular and good choices here. Check out Floyd's off of I-10 or perhaps the Schooner in Nederland.

Lukes is a sports bar on Calder Street in Beaumont. They have a full bar and pretty good food. Some nights there is live music on the patio. Music is usually a local country band. Mixed age croud.

Strip clubs suck ass in Beaumont and are a waste of time as far as I am concerned.

Sweets..... Ditto on Floyd's.... Fresh raw oysters, best gumbo west of the La border, and they have these awesome crab meat stuffed fried jalapenos..... Also several good happy hours around town... Madison's, Major League Grill, etc.....

There are a lot of places in Beaumont. The problem is folks here work a lot and aren't social setting people. Mind boggling if you ask me.
