She was well before my time, but even I know of Ms. Lovelace. She was a legend in her day, and spent her latter years as a strong anti-pornography activist.

On a related note, does anyone know where she was born? I've heard Bryan, TX and I've heard New York State somewhere. I've found both listed as answers through internet searches.
