And, could any statement, by any politician, more accurately illustrate this proposition than Mitch McConnell's statement that he wanted to ensure that President Obama was a one-term President? Pure power, that is all that matters to the repukes, the hell with the country.

The problem is, Timmy, that there are plenty of examples on both sides. McConnell's is certainly one of them. They all care about concentrating their power and influence more than they are about solving problems.
