Searching / Viewing NEW Showcases

The lurker (ok, perv) in me would like to occasionally peruse the new / updated provider showcases. Other than the dozen or so listed on the home page that must be viewed one at a time, is there a way to search & display new showcases so that they are displayed in the same format as on the Browse Showcases page (50 to a page)?

Not that I know of. I did not see anything in the Search Providers page that has that particular ability.

That's too bad, would be a great feature....along with a search for new posts.

You can view the new posts by using the New Posts link located on the left of any forum page.

What about when you browse through providers, is there some way to make a list or save ones as favorites if you want to keep them handy without having to write something down with pen and paper or some such non-eccie manner? Surely there must be a way to save favorites such as on P411, right?

You may save the links (bookmark) of your favorite providers' showcases in their own folder within your browser's saved bookmarks (favorites in IE).

Or in the Personal Notepad section within your User CP. Link located at top left side of most pages across the site.

The best way I've found to keep up with different members on the site is to add them to your contact list. You can see when they're online by viewing your buddy list on the left hand side of any ECCIE page also. To view your list of contacts you just access your UserCP and then select Contacts. From that page you can see everyone you've saved, remove contacts and click on their name to view their profiles.

Adding someone to your contact/buddy list is easy. (see pic below) Click on their profile, click User Lists, select Add to Contacts and then confirm the change on the next page. Thats it.
