Thinking of Visiting West Texas Next Week. Where Should I Go?

The title says it all...

My name is Morgan and I am interested in visiting West Texas for the first time. I know there are several cities out that way so which are the most happening? Are there any I should avoid? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks so much!

well, i can think of at least one place you should visit!

otherwise, there's definitely demand in midland/odessa due to the oilfields, but hotels are expensive and full for the same reasons. lubbock and amarillo are sleepy but needy, and hotels aren't a problem. depending on how far west you want to go, there's also lonely dudes in el paso...

I don't know if you're driving or flying for your tour but any place named above is great to go to If you're driving...it will be a trek bc WT is HUGE, however, the WTX gents are awesome and will take great care of you

If you do Midland/Odessa....book your room YESTERDAY...they are hard to come by right now and not inexpensive
