Museum in Amsterdam has uploaded all of it's gallery content FREE to the public

Ran across this article today: http://www.artdaily.org/index.asp?in...1#.UK09VuOe-nY

The website for the museum has made it's gallery totally available for free online and they have a lot of really cool interactive stuff there as well.

I'm not sure if the general eccie crowd will be into it but I think it's worth checking out(you do need to translate it from Dutch to English for the written stuff but it's mostly images anyway):

Thanks for sharing. I've actually been to the Rijksmuseum. Someone dragged me there, and I found it extremely boring at the time. But that was before I saw "The Girl With The Pearl Earring". Maybe it would be slightly less boring now, thanks to Scarlett Johanssen. If you like this sort of thing, you should definitely see that movie.

I liked the Van Gogh museum much better. They should put that online, but it would have to be in 3D for the full effect. It's hard to appreciate his work from 2D prints. You have to see them in person to appreciate the texturing.

I was there in August, It's a great museum. the Dutch Masters were pretty remarkable. We stayed about a block from there. Amsterdam is pretty great all around, in fact.
