Some people have no shame

So I'm watching the ABC World News Report with Diana Sawyer the other evening when she starts talking about Christmas decoration thieves. They show a video of a guy stealing holiday lawn ornaments from someones yard, big stuff like lighted reindeers and those inflatable Santas and whatever else they could get their hands on. Apparently the house had good surveillance cameras and they got all of this on tape. Well I'm thinking "Man if that happened in Texas someone could get shot"! Well guess what? It happened in San Antonio! I guess the people weren't home when all of this went down. People who steal suck and have no regard for others! It was appalling! Now sure there are worse things going on in the world but the decorations are fun and supposed to make you feel good when you look at them. So everyone who puts up Christmas decorations or what have you keep your eyes peeled for people with bad intentions. What a world .

Yea people are stupid. I had an American flag stolen this year. Pretty fucked up.

This year was the first year we put up Christmas lights. While I'd hate for them to be stolen we do have a few extra put away just in case. Thankfully you can buy lights cheap for $3 a strand. Although I'd be infuriated if someone stole my expensive inflatable decoration. That's why I don't buy those. How sad that we can't even decorate because of people who steal.

I had 4 little plastic statues by my front door and someone stole 2 of them.
The ones they took were both "hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil" statues.
I was hoping when I did my front for the holiday nothing would go missing;
but I decided to do it anyway because it makes me feel good to have it up.

I will never understand hiw some people can be so mean, ugly, shady, dishonest , and grinch like ...geez :/

Get one of those motion detector lights.
Instead of putting a light bulb in it, have it wired to a light inside the house or a bell.
That way when the light/bell goes off, you can come and get the drop on those pesky scrooges without them knowing it.

That's a cheapskate silent alarm for me.

Just yesterday someone put up ornaments on a couple of the cubicle walls where I work. This was done early in the morning. By the early afternoon, four of them were gone! Taken from the wall.

I would love to catch them when I have my Louisville Slugger in my hand.
