I read about Malaya's misfortune and am interested in helping in some way, but unfortunately can not be sure to get to a Walmart any time soon (please see: http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=618923). And quick cash is needed.

Any of you hobbyists that have met me at a social care to front a c-note for me? Any ladies who have had me behind doors care to risk it?

If it is a gent I will plan to pay you at the HH on Tuesday, the 18th, unless you have a better idea. Same for the ladies, unless you do not plan to attend - maybe we schedule a session next weekend, or thereabouts, and settle up then?

As this is a public admission of indebtedness you would think the likelihood of not getting repaid to be slim?

Perhaps we can also use this thread to get a public Pledge Drive going (although I in no way wish to step on toes or cut in front of the White Queen and her thread)?

I have never met the lady but I did see her once at a social and liked her apparent energy, and apparent naughtiness too.



I see X-Mas gift drives going all over ECCIE, and these are good things. But isn't a roof and electricity and food more important than another toy?

In case you are curious why I didn't just get to Walmart myself - I have been in with a cold/fever since Saturday night. But I expect I'll get out and about by tomorrow, so the help is no longer needed.
