How Do You Deal With Hobby Drama?

By taking a very long break. I'm getting off the board until I'm done with maternity leave. Too much drama and I don't like getting this upset over stupid childish drama. Have a wonderful holiday.

Takes between two and three weeks and then someone else will do something more stupid than the last and its pretty much forgotten then! But the drama lives on....Haters.... put crazy glue in thier Preperation H, that will fix them! LOL
Personally I wish you a restful and healthy break from the hobby, I really do.

But also keep in mind, there are times when the cruel thing is to be gentle, and the right thing is to be both kindful and intelligent, but also a need for frankness....

By not taking it so seriously , it's only words typed onto a screen . If it starts getting to you turn it off .

I cry in a dark corner with my baby blanket! Lol jk man it's the Internet filled with people I don't know. So I just don't care. Now family drama! That's a whole other story hehe
Drama, unfortunately, will always be apart of our community...because of the diversity of the members, our interactions, and various contributing factors. There's a saying by Max Lucade that rings so true, "Conflict is inevitable...but, Combat is optional."

The way I've dealt with past drama is by taking responsibility...for my share of the blame...for the things that I have may done wrong...or in handling a situation badly, then making my apologies.

Getting through the HURT and DISAPPOINTMENT...that I experienced...from being betrayed and slandered...was by offering FORGIVENESS, and going forward.

We can make ourselves as miserable as we want, or change our way of thinking...to become a more positive, and happier person.

I wish that for you Malaya, but more than that...happiness that you so richly deserve. At the end of the day...we all have to be good with the decisions we make.

Your TRUE friends will NEVER steer you...in the wrong direction...no matter what price they may have to pay...to help you down that road.

Hope you start to feel better and get the rest you need!

Some people are jackasses and will say things harshly. Maybe it helps them feel superior. However, do yourself a favor and consider what they said because even though it is stated badly sometimes there may be things you should consider. I know that is hard to do when you have an emotional response but try to do it.
