It is coming down like crazy here! I hope the bar is dead tonight so I know people are home safe and not drinking and driving especially in a blizzard!

I had 70+ mile/hour howl thru here two nights ago. The wind lasted from about 9 pm to after 5am Wednesday morning.

So scary! Stay safe P!
The wind scares me after Sandy! My tree coming down and taking the retaining wall out was so loud and terrifying I shook like a lap dog after it happened °•°
Hands on the wheel, stash in your pants

I have come to realize that most accidents during bad weather are STILL caused by driver distraction and inattentiveness. They aren't paying attention, following too closely, etc. Then they look up and go "Holy Shit!" and instantly stomp on the brakes and yank the wheel.... which is what REALLY causes the accident.

I saw this poor woman yesterday do this very thing. She ended up with her car stopped dead in the middle of the passing lane facing oncoming traffic on 490. Damn lucky she did not kill herself and others.

It was cool though, the wind would howl through it and made a total white out, you couldn't see an inch out the window. THANK GOD it was just drifts that have been cleared.
I wasn't joking this fall about wanting to barter with a snowplow driver to plow, shovel all my stairs (4 sets plus my 2 story garage has outside stairs you can see the edge of its roof in the one pic), and salt. THANK GOD I found one because I am NOT going out to shovel thigh high snow. The only thigh high anything I like is fishnets and stockings *Giggles*
I don't blame my morning Gent for canceling on me at all! He lives 20 mins away ontop of a huge hill, he sent a pic and he has no road right now. Safety first!
You are right Rooster, I'm not afraid of driving in the snow, I am afraid of OTHERS driving in the snow.
I'm just happy to have a white Christmas for once.....

N TX had a white Christmas. Usually its shorts and t-shirts.
Nothing like sitting in front of the computer with a glass of wine, no where to go, snow outside and Christmas lights all lit. I just love lazy days! I'm aking full advantage of this storm
