Hello gents I'm Hope from Northern California. Ive been interested for a long while now to visit you guys in Dallas. Ive met some really great people from Dallas in their business trips to San Fran through p411. I'm well established on p411, TER and Redbook. Feel free to check out my showcase for my personal website for tons of pics and review info.

If anybody could give me advice on which areas are for hotels have the easiest access. Also, any good places to eat or check out while I visit.

Please respond if any interest. Feel free to call, PM or e-mail me. I was thinking of visiting somewhere around the beginning of February if there's enough interest from you southern gents.

Xoxoxoxo I hope you all had a beautiful and blessed holiday
There are some nice hotels along the Dallas North Tollway north of I-635. Lots of hotels in North Dallas and Addison along Midway Road, Beltline and near the Galleria area. Good hotels in downtown Dallas, too, but most guys prefer the North Dallas/Addison areas. Also, good hotels along Central Expressway, north of downtown up to Forest Ln.

You'll find whatever you want to eat in Addison: steaks, seafood, tex-mex... Addison and North Dallas kinda run together.

Thank you I appreciate you reaching out with some good info. I hear your restaurant selection is awesome. :-)

Since you are from San Francisco, there really aren't that many eateries in TX that have tofu and bean sprouts. You might need to pack some. We eat meat and taint.

Blew stuff up. Cowgirls lost. Aggies won. 2013 is rocking.
My suggestion is the Westin Galleria.

Convenient for both clients (Tollway and 635), and with the hotel being directly attached to the Galleria, perfect for down time between appointments and mitigating the need for a car rental.

In terms of restaurants, for something you don't have in San Francisco:

Steak: Del Frisco's (I believe there is one a short cab ride's distance from the Galleria on Spring Valley)
Tex Mex: El Fenix (casual), Mi Cocina (slightly less casual)

Also, a short drive from the Galleria is Belt Line Road in Addision, which has a bevy of restaurants of every variety.
