Hobbyist Verifications

golfnwine's Avatar
I have lunch with other hobbyists and attend Socials regularily.
Do providers accept verifications from other hobbyists that they have met BCD?

I do not know if I understand the question.

So you would vouch for another Hobbyist to a Provider?

Including that the Hobbyist is OK to see BCD?
I have had providers ask me about hobbyist that they are on the fence about , if they know that I know them . Whether or not it was a factor in seeing them or not , I don't know , or particularly want to . Just giving an opinion that was asked for .
.....I may be able to vouch he is a player in the hobby; however, I have no idea what he might be like BCD.

Are you saying if you can vouch for another guy for a companion? I know I still check there "references" before hand just to keep safe you know.

I believe levi tab is on the right track.

Say you had a friend "John" who just joined ECCIE and he has little or no reviews (aka newbie status)

Would a lady accept "John" as a customer if you as a personal friend can tell her that "John" is a trustworthy friend.

It's kind of a referral situation but I have introduced friends of mine to some lovely ladies to let them know that I know the guy and he is not LE and is ok for her to see.

It's a matter of trust but you can seek a win-win situation.

I would accept verification from another hobbiest if I knew him... this is what I did in Tampa to see customers and I never had an issue.

I would definately accept a vouch from another hobbyist especialy if his friend is a ...its a good way our new gentlemen can get in the door of our naughty community...
It depends on the gent doing the referring, and how well our relationship with one another is
I've accepted a *friend of a friend* date many years ago; however, that ended in an EPIC fail. The *friend* pulled a couple of NCNSs, and when he apologized and actually met me...he shorted me quite a bit...never again!

Well, would the "voucher" agree to accept financial responsibility for the "voucher?"

I ask since I'm pretty sure a vouching provider is not expected to do that and we know "stuff happens" even with solid provider vouches.

otoh - many providers are newbie/vouchless friendly and once seen offer solid vouches.
