Pet Peeve

Sometimes I get bored and check out Backpage ads. I never call them because.. well.. it's Backpage. Anyway, it seems that I always come across ads for women who label themselves as "stallions". Do they not realize that stallions are MALE horses?? Am I missing something there?? Just needed to get that off my chest.

LOL. I asked that question I think 1.5 years ago when a very hot provider visited new orleans and she called her self a stallion in her ad.

Amazing how some words have slang usages established by people who must not have any clue as to the words' real meanings.

It irks me too. When I hear 'stallion' the first thing that pop into my mind is a big horse dick. If they insist on referring to themselves in horse terms they should instead use 'thoroughbred'.

THAT'S what I also thought.

I was a submariner in Hawaii ... and several guys on the crew got fooled by "Mahoos". Hey, it's submariners so no big deal ... live and learn, nobody felt permanently "ruined" from the experience. Anyway - since hearing those stories I try to make sure I never get "fooled".

Why not just use the word "filly"? I think it would make more sense since it actually refers to a female horse and is also slang for a hot woman.

Since this is a pet peeve thread ...

People driving in the passing lane and not moving over so others may pass.
