I had mentioned heading out your (Rochester) way after the New Year.
I'm thinking the first weekend of February.
Any recommendations for accommodations? 🏣

Honey you will love it! There are some amazing Gents out there that really know how to treat a lady (coffee, gifts, tips, foot rubs...) I have never had a bad trip there. I would suggest start advertising for it as soon as you set dates. It seems a lot of Gents need advanced notice there due to their jobs.

Can I volunteer OSD's boat? Oops, wrong season.

I'd be volunteering my own if it were 75☀ warmer.
Then I'd be asking for Marina Refs, lol!

The AC is on my list of "places of interest".

Sounds like a summer time canal tour.

That would be something! ⚓
It would cost me a fortune in gas.⛽
Okay, I'm taking bets on if OSD can keep this to just meeting for a cup of coffee. LOL

So there's no confusion...
I will be in Rochester 2/1-2/3.
I will be available in the afternoon on 2/1, anytime 2/2, leaving 2/3. ⌚

Since nobody has answered your original question about where to stay in Rochester. Most of the traveling Providers seem to stay at the Hotels around the Interstate 390 Thruway exit (Exit 46). Most of them provide basic 2 star services. There are also a fair number of Hotels of the same type at the 490/Victor Thruway Exit (Exit 45). Both exits are very close to Shopping, Resturants and other amenties. If your looking for 4 star or better accomodations. The Lodge at Woodcliff is close to Exit 45 and there is a Hyatt, a Marriott and a couple of other upper scale Hotels in the Downtown area. It all kind of depends upon how much you want to spend. The Red Roof Inn (Exit 46) still has the doors that go straight to the outside and nobody (that I've noticed) really pays attention to who is coming and going. Which is good for Privacy. But possiblly bad for Security. They were also in the process of renovating the rooms when I was last there. But I have never had a problem at any of the Hotels I have been to in that area (either as a guest or visiting a Provider).

I like being near the airport sometimes. I have been in pittsford a few times, I mainly only stay there when I have at least one high end overnight. I can't remember the name of it but I think it was Del Monte where some Gents were weird about going during the day because they have a lot of business meetings there and don't want to get recognized.
