Tennis

With the first of the four major tournaments of the year kicking off with the Australian Open makes we wonder if anyone else enjoys playing tennis? I have played practically every major sport under the sun, but tennis is my favorite. It is like hand to hand combat, offense and defense, movement, hand eye coordination, physically challenging, and mental challenges (unlike perpetual motion sports that are not mentally challenging).
Great game but I quit after a long junior career right after making semis of the national 18 and under hard courts.. Turned down all my scholarships and wouldn't even watch it on TV for a couple of years- total burnout as a kid.. Then I took up rugby... Both are great games
I'm starting to enjoy tennis a lot! However, my tennis partner is rarely available anymore, so I've taken a liking to racquetball instead. Its a great sport to play and gain agility and burn calories.

I'm a big tennis and racquetball fan too. I'm new to Dallas. Where's a good place to take lessons?
LB Houston is well run and has enough variety that you'll find a spot.

There are several women tennis players that are worth watching. And if you replay some points in slo-mo ....
I got up early to watch Federer school Raonic! What a clinic!

I used to play in high school, great game.

Has anyone else ever made a tennis ball cannon,
AKA--a redneck knee mortar, those used to be fun.
